Bruch with Bottles

Fancy brunch this weekend? let me tell you an awesome place I´ve discovered recently. Is called BOTTLES, located at Spitalfields market, in Brushfield Street to be precise, but they have a lovely and cosy terrace facing the market.

BOTTLES is an Italian wine bar and they have launched a weekend brunch menu with in-house pop-up restaurant concept SOOD Family.

Combining Italian warmth with London edge, the 2-storey wine bar is a relaxed and buzzy space that’s wholly dedicated to the enjoyment of food and wine. Spilling out into Old Spitalfields Market with it’s own floral terrace, BOTTLES is the perfect weekend destination brunch spot.

few recommendations to try:

  • Oak smoked salmon and avocado on toast, seaweed and orange hollandaise
  • Fried egg sandwich, guanciale, mozzarella, roasted garlic and chilli mayo
  • Potato frittata, pepper fennel & dill salad (v)

With a knowledgeable and progressive approach to Italian food, SOOD Family perfectly fit the informal but attentive service, smartly appointed restaurant space and the eclectic wine selection.

The talented culinary team of Michele Pompili (Chiltern Firehouse), Carlo Deho’ and Portuguese native Nadine Martins Verissimo (Taberna do Mercado) have made BOTTLES their new home after a year-long residency at Kitchens of Old Spitalfields Market.

BOTTLES X SOOD Family’s new brunch menu is available every Saturday and Sunday 11am – 4pm.
